Our sea tour itinerary includes dolphin watching, snorkeling @ Balicasag Island and Virgin Island. Sadly, not even one dolphin appeared due to the heavy sea waves the night before our trip.
Balicasag Island
- Not quite far from Panglao is an island called Balicasag. It has a white sand and blue water that is suitable to have a clear view of corals, fishes and other marine life. We were taken by a small boat and a different tour guide there which cost 150/person. The municipality prohibited those motor boats to go on tour with their guests to pave a way for the means of living of Balicasag residents.

- What I love about this island is the long stretch white sand and crescent moon shaped island, very unique. Just looking at the island will make you feel relaxed. The small island with only trees mounting on it. There is no accommodations nor any infrastructures in this small island, maybe that is the reason of acquiring its name. Though there are a lot of vendors selling different exotic seafood, sea shells and pearls. The submerged part of the island is actually a very cool spot for taking pictures that may create illusions of walking or sitting over the water. What I do not like about the island is cutting the momentum when we were in the urge of getting soak upon seeing the beautiful island because of the sea plants surrounding the area.
